We are building this years raffle car for the Ohio Cobra Club, I will post pics as we make progress. We are replicating Allen Grants yelow and black 289 racer, the paint scheme was designed by George Lucas of the Star War fame. The front fenders, door opening and nose area were altered so this will be a one off Cobra. Enjoy.

We have a local engine shop called Patriot Heads building a 347 stroked 302 which will dyno around 450 hp with stack fuel injection. The company manufactures both aluminum and cast iron heads sold by Summit and Jegs and they also build performance crate engines soldby the same companies. The car was origially painted a yellow tint color in 1964 or 65, Allent Grant was able to locate the paint code for us.

When will tickets go on sale?????

Folks, this is truly one of a kind. Absolutely a rare one indeed. I think I have seen and studied just about all manufacturers of Cobras but I have to admit, no one out there has done what you guys are replicating here.

This car should go to someone who truly appreciates the incredible efforts of the Unique company and Weaver family and the legacy created here. Hat off to you guys, I am so proud to be associated with you guys, and all for a great cause and at a great expense of time and money.

I think the Unique community should make a great effort to attend the London Cobra Show next year to see this one off masterpiece being raffled off. I am buying a few tickets as soon as they go for sale.

Truly, truly beautiful.

I had the day off on Monday (01/16/12) and drove to Gadsden to visit Unique. The raffle car really looks good.....another painting perfection. Maurice and Alan were a little frustrated because pieces/parts are not coming in as promissed and they are anxious to complete the car. When finished it should be another show stopper.

Got a call from the engine builder yesterday saying the engine was about to be dynoed, the first pull, with carb, made 456hp at 6000rpm. Not bad for a punched out 302! They installed the stack fuel injection and plan to dyno again on Monday, I will keep you posted.

A Cobra is not a Cobra until it's got a small "fish mouth" on the bottom of the bell housing. How the heck did you get 5.5" of ground clearance? I'm not sure I got that much clearance between my butt and the pavement!

Hello old friend. It was NASA racing, and I did it four seasons. I've got three second place trophies for my trophy case. Started to grow tired of it with so many people deciding to enter the frey. Racing in the SE has become a demolition derby...so I gave it up. I have a very nice SE30 racer is you know anyone looking to get in to it.
