A general note for those of you wanting to try a colder plug. I have been experimenting with Autolite AR32's for a month and really like them. The AR32 is a solid copper core non-resistor racing plug that is side gapped. I've been soft pedaling my engine with the Autolite 45's keeping her effective compression below 12:1 because the 45's, while running fine, are too hot for my application. I initially had concerns with the 32's fowling because half my driving is easy around-town cruising. The only notable thing to date is the 45's can be lugged way down and will pull away smoothly in the higher gears. The 32's will lug down to a point but will "protest" sooner. Highway cruising and quick acceleration is where they really shine. The exhaust note on the interstates is smoother and noticeably quieter.

As Franco would say "The Engine.....She'sa Happy Now" (Gumball Rally).

Back in the day (60’s) BF32's were the recommended plug for most high performance/street applications. They are routinely available also on EBay sales.

Da bambino she'sa good so "Ciao" for now.
