any way to attach an Excel doc to a thread?

Any help, ideas welcome on how I can attach an Excel doc to a thread?

I'll expand my question beyond Excel.... can an attachment, other than a picture, be attached to a thread..... e.g., pdf, word??

I am almost positive it has to be a .jpg or .gif. You can of course embed a link into a thread.

Phil, that's what I thought. I wanted to share a build doc... you'd think we would have the ability to add doc's such as PDF, Excel, etc.... maybe someday?

I think Patrick sets the rules on this, unless there are linitations with the forum software, (which I doubt). He would be the one to question about help on posting these files here... you might try a PM.
