I say the auction for the Daytona on TV and it got up to $6,800,000. but the owner wanted 7.8 so I don't think it sold. They did sell some original 427 and 289's. Didn't know it but the SC behind the 427SC means "Street Competition". The story is the 427 was not good on the racing circuit so they took the 50 cars they had set aside to set up for racing and converted over to street cars and called them 427SC.
