A friend sent me two images of a Cobra that was parked on a lift over a Bentley. The car evidently rolled backward off the lift and crashed into the closed garage door.

(Edit-After posting this thread I am not sure that it's a Cobra and/or Replica. The covered shape doesn't seem right)

The front end profile does not look like a Cobra, more like a corvette.

The brake light favors a Vette too. That floor is too clean!

Is that some kind of one post lift? I would think that if you can afford a Bentley you could buy a more stable lift.

Looks like a cheap a$$ lift!! I see a center support but no end supports, not sure how it lifts period.

Looks like one of the new "space saver" single column lifts:

Looks to me like this lift failed. Because if the platform was properly leveled, it would be very difficult for a car to roll over that big center hump, even if it was in neutral with no parking brake on. I've always thought this looked like a poor lift design.

Looks like you nailed it Russ, I think that might be the same vette that fell off:)
