The Unique Raffle Cobra was in our booth this past weekend in Carlisle and the guys from the Ohio Cobra Club did a great job selling tickets. If you haven't purchased a ticket I would like to urge you to do so, it is for a great cause, Cystic Fibrosis, and all proceeds go to the charity. We priced this car out and it came to almost $70K so its not your typical give away car. The car will be given away at the London Ohio Show June 23rd and you can buy tickets online by going to their web site or ours, just click on the raffle car banner on our home page. Wouldn't it be great to see one of our customers win.

Thanks, Alan

I haven't even counted yet how many I have bought but it is a bunch! My lotus notes reminds me every monday morning to buy more! Buy a couple a week and I don't even notice the money. Alan is right, this car is stunning. From what I hear, they sold about $5000+ in tickets at Carlisle.

www.londoncobrashow.com and click on raffle car!

Remember, proceeds go to Cystic Fibrosis.

Alan, did Gordon chase people down the aisles to get them to buy tickets? He has been known to do that!

They both were chasing people down the aisles, he had both Maurice and I selling them as well. I'd like to remind everyone that we had a family member who lost her battle with CF so this charity means alot to us. Again, if you haven't bought tickets, please think about it.

Many folks don't realize that CF is passed through a recessive gene from parent to child. As many as 1 in every 30 people of all ages in the US carry this recessive gene and the vast majority don't even know it... and won't know it until their child is diagnosed with CF.

15 years ago most children diagnosed with CF did not live into their teens. By 2000 the average life span rose to 32. Each year over 1000 cases (US alone) add to the already 30,000 cases in the US known today. Things are getting better but they need more resources to find a cure. The life you might help save, may be your own childs.

Many of us have our favorite charities, obviously this is one of mine. http://www.cff.org/

The CF Foundation holds special meaning for me as well. We had a scare with my son when he was 4 years old. Fortunately, it was diagnosed as something else that he grew out of. Thank God! :)

I think the car may be featured in a shoot in Kit Car.... but don't hold me to that!

The deadline for buying raffle tickets online is June 18th, wouldn't it be nice to see a Unique owner win the car.

A UNIQUE owner would be terrific. I talked to Bruce Bunt at Homecoming about adding a "RED" Rookie Stripe after I win!

My aunt and cousin are planning on making the trip to London Ohio for the drawing, after we dedicated the raffle car in Gails name they felt a need to be there. I hope they set a record this year on ticket sales.

I look forward to seeing them. This is Gail's mother and sister?

I don't know the exact number of tickets sold so far but I do know it is north of $70,000 gross. We just had the car at a Nascar event this past week end and we have another car show or two coming up even before London. So we are trying to sell all we can! I think this is a record for ticket sales but of course... more, MORE, MORE!! :)

If any one is interested, we are also doing a live and silent auction the evening of June 23 at the party before the raffle car drawing to help raise more money. So if you have something that you want to donate, feel free to drop me a line.
