That's a beauty! I have already initiated a strategy to get my wife's new
car out of the garage to make room for another Unique ;)

I want it!

I have been thinking of a second Cobra for Cara.

If I win this one it will be a lot easier on the budget and the silver with black stripes will look good next to my black one in the garage.:D

I don't know why not Alan! I know I am buying tickets. The way we look at it, all the time and effort all of us put into this event why shouldn't we be eligable?

The guys with the Ohio Cobra Club just left with the raffle car headed back towards Ohio, they spent a couple of hours at our shop getting some video footage then left for Southern Automotive and Bruce Bunns shop. Tickets are being sold now so don't wait.

I will leave it to Frank, Rob and Steve to post the full story but after meeting Alan, Maurice, the Parham's, the Bunn's and all the rest of the gange, I think the three of them want to move!

Keep in mind, the three OCC members that went down to get the car are ALL Superformance guys.... at least they where. A quote from Franks blog "It has to be one of the finest replicas I’ve ever seen". Pretty high praise from a guy who has seen well over 1000 of them.

As I read through Franks tell, I could not help but smile and some times laugh outloud. "..a warm southern welcome " "generous with their time and allowed us access to the entire shop" "Bill and Susan Parham have to be the most warm, gracious people in the world! There wasn’t enough they could do for us. I learned more about motors in the couple of hours with Bill than in my entire life. The man is phenomenal!! "

When it came time to go to Bill and Susan's shop, I guess Alan recommended going to Bruce and Cindy's first because "...we’d never get away from Southern Automotive after Bill Parham got hold of us." I laughed my butt of on that one. I guess even after the time spent at the shop the Parham's where not done with our three travelers so they even took them to dinner! How often do you get folks to donate one heck of a nice motor and then when you go pick it up, they welcome you with open arms and even buy you dinner! Good folks to be sure.

I had the priveledge of meeting all these folks myself and I can't think of a better group to be involved in this project with.

Rick, we enjoyed meeting the guys from Ohio Sat, we showed them around the shop and they were able to get some video footage for their DVD. They seemed to be impressed with the finished product and hope to sell lots of tickets. We plan on having tickets for sale at this years Open House so bring your money. Maurice is planning on going to the All Ford Show in Columbus this April and displaying in the raffle car booth so come out and say hello.

Alan, Just wanted to tell you the that the raffle car turned out absolutely gorgeous. Is the paint color the same as mine? I just purchased some raffle tickets on the car. By the way did you ever get the price for the big brake kit for my car? Thanks, Donnie
