Fall is in the air and, granted, I've been here peridocally due to my current situation (retired :) ) - but I've been thinking about this for a month or more. It is the time of year we have traditionally kicked off our annual fund raiser to support this site - AKA Patrick, and what he does to keep this site going so we can all benefit from each others knowledge. Take a moment and consider where you would turn if this forum were not available to post questions, comments, or brag

Clay has taken the lead, as have I. So which one of you studs is going to step up and do the honors this year? Don't be shy, bashful, or belligerent....

Which one of you has the compassion to see that Uniquecobra.com lives on?

Phil- remind me of the snail mail address and I will send a check. Phil

Thanks Phil for your response. What I am hoping for is for a forum member to volunteer and assume the responsibility of spear heading this year's Annual Fund Raiser. Clay and I have both had our turn in the barrel (so to speak). I have to say, unless my post wasn't clear, with over 60 views (make that almost 80!) and only one reply.... I'm disappointed.

I'm still hopeful - we'll see.

Phil,

Can you give out the details on what is involved when organizing the fundraiser?

You have a PM.

After speaking with Phil I have decided to step up and spearhead this year's fundraiser. Later this week I will post a kickoff thread detailing payment information as well as some of the upgrades that Patrick would like to do for our forum.

Thanks Justin for your commitment to this unique forum :)

As I told you, I believe it is important that a different member take the lead each year.... getting involved is fun and there is that personal satisfaction when it is completed.

There are a lot of great folks on this forum who contribute enormous amounts of information, and many more that benefit from the knowledge. With that said... I hope this year's fundraiser is as successful as years past (actually, there are twice as many members registered than two years ago!)
