I am ready to hit the road, but am having a challenge finding someone to provide insurance. I tried Grundy, but I have a tarnished driving record and was declined.

Any advice (other than slow down).

Steve, have you tried the company who insures your regular cars? Depending on the company they may issue you a policy for exhibition coverage which is good for 4K per year.

I did try that. GMAC won't do it.

Thanks for the thought.

I have mine through State Farm - $400/ yr replacement value. This question has been asked and answered many times - here and Club Cobra. Do a search, there is plenty of info.

And yes, be discreet (aka - slow down) ;)

I have Condon & Skelly $320 per year replacement value, But 2500 miles per year limit. My regular insurance company would not touch it even with a perfect driving record.

I think mine is through American Collectors, but I will check tomorrow and see and post back. Around $400 for 52,000 of coverage and 3K miles per year.

So far my driving record is clean .

We've had several customers going to Midwest Collector Car lately and seem to be happy with their rates, 888-271-4000.

Thank you all. I have exhausted 11 companies........they don't like the speeding ticket history. I guess I can look at it unitl my record is clean:)

I now have a great incentive to slow down.

Sorry to mislead you I ended up going with Midwest, the same company Alan suggested.
