We are planning to travel in a caravan of Cobras to the London Cobra Show 2006.

The Cobra Caravan 2006 will start early Wednesday, June 21st at Midnight from Northern Alabama progressing early Thursday June 22 traveling North and picking Cobras along the way en route to the London Cobra Show. As the Caravan travels through Nashville, TN, it will pick up Cobras from Memphis and Nashville, TN, at about 2:00 AM, Nashville time.

It will then travel I-65 North picking up Cobras in Franklin, KY 3:00AM, Bowling Green, KY at about 3:30 AM or 4:00 AM toward Louisville, KY, picking up Cobras North of Louisville on I-71 North at the Cracker Barrel in Lagrange, KY, Exit 22 at about 6:45 AM or 7:00 AM where we will have breakfast.

The Cobra Caravan will depart Cracker Barrel and proceed toward Cincinnati on I-71 North at about 8:00 AM. It will arrive at the junction of I-71 and I-75 N approximately at 8:45 AM or 9:15 AM. Then we travel for a few minutes on North I-75 stopping at the first Rest Area after the junction of I-71 and I-75. We will stop to pick up the Cobra Caravan from south of Lexington, KY.

It will take approximately 2-1/2 hours from the Rest Area until we reach Columbus. Remember some of us are traveling in our Cobras and others in trailers but all together we will be slower than if we were just traveling in our Cobras only.

Juan,

Good luck on your adventure. Hope the weather holds up for you. Maybe someday I'll work up the courage to drive cross country (I've got a brother in Columbus).... but I'm still recovering from Reno and don't have working windshield wipers!

Looks great, all have fun, take lots of pictures to share , may your cobra run sweet with no problems. Go easy on burnouts--cause it has to get you back home. Good luck--Will-alabama

Will, I am afraid that the burnouts I leave to those daredevils who dare to risk breaking their cars, at least they have trailers to take them back home. I go mainly for the energy and excitement of seeing all those Cobras in one place at the same time. The people are awesome too.

I will post pictures when I get back.

No burn outs, no problem! This year in London you can also take a cruise instead of a burnout. For those who want to smoke them, they can. For those who want to take people on a cruise, they can. Also, we will be giving rides, for those who want to, at the autocross. MUCH bigger facility this year for the autocross. Just wait until you see the place for the '07 autocross! Perfect, simply perfect.
