Now that the braces for the lock pillars and seat belts are welded I can finish fiberglassing the front of the trunk to the rear bulkhead. It’s the same procedure as the foot boxes.
Start with a piece of FRP cut to fit and taped into place.

And then just climb in the trunk and lay up the fiberglass.

(Yes, it’s as difficult as it sounds, had to use Alan’s advise on removing fiberglass from skin after this one.)
With that done it was time to cut out holes for the roll bar. To avoid having water run into the trunk area through the upper holes I installed 2” PVC pipe through the panel I just made and sealed to the bottom side of the turtle deck.

Cut the pipe flush with the panel,

A little filler around the edges,

Sand and Prime.
