In a word - YES!!! There has been much discussion - do a search on "MSD Distributor". I changed my SA to an MSD Pro-Billet and never looked back. A huge improvement :D
This is one of several topics - http://www.uniquecobra.com/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=1165&SearchTerms=msd+distributor

YES!!!
We replaced the Ford Duraspark in Mom & Dad's almost a year ago - right after the Ford distributor seized & sheared the drive gear in Pigeon Forge last year. MSD made for much faster starts, much smoother idle, less wiring, etc.
