Can someone post a picture of a street dash. I've seen a good picture from Phil with the comp. dash. I'm trying to decide on my dash layout.

Thanks Tony

Tony - You might take a look at these -

The speedo and tach are more visible with the street version, but I prefer keeping my eye on oil temp/pressure and the tach more than the speedo (personal preference)

Thanks Phil,

Very Helpful. I guess that is why people change there gauges around for personal preferance. My gauges in my '77 jeep are all over the place. The street dash in the Cobra would be a treat just because the gauges are together. But the comp dash has the speedo in the same place as the Jeep. Now you guys don't get upset with me comparing my Jeep to the Cobra, it's the only thing I have to compare it to. Besides it has a loud V8 in it. Factory tach is next to the steering column.

Thanks Again Tony

Tony:

My 427 SC (November 2004) came with the following dash. I elected to place the gauges as shown.

WOW...14 yars after I got my 427...and the Weavers ( great people )
BUT...they still put that HORRIBLE ...OFF WHITE coloured pull
switch in the middle of a nice black dash.
Changed mine out a week after I got the kit.

Competition Dash Layout, Far left is fuel guage and oil temp guage.
All switches are hidden under the dash on two new aluminum support brackets.

Thanks guys,

This is alot of help. I think I'm going to go with the comp dash. But I'll make my final decision when I go to Alabama in a couple of weeks. Just visited a guy near me that has a ERA 289 running and a Kirkham 289 leaf spring car on jack stands. Makes the wait even harder in some ways but nice to see a Cobra up close.
