What do you use to support the body when it's off the frame? Should I build a frame on casters to take the body to paint?
Just wondering

Yes! If you don't the body will droop. Build a wooden body buck (replicating the frame) and mount casters for ease of movement (your painter will love it). If Alan can't supply a diagram/plans, let me know and I'll scan what I have and send them to you. Around $100 in materials.

Tony,
Here's a link that I used quite a bit when I was building mine. On the left side of the page you will find a link to "Body Buck". There are three .PDF files you can print (Buck -1, 2, and 3). That should get you going in the right direction! ;)

Thanks Phil,
That site is unbeleivable!!! When did he have time to build the car?
Can't thank you enough. Right on time. We are buying lumber for the basement. Can save my Cobra money and put it on the basement project material list.[}:)]
