DMV sent plates

end of this week will be 3 months since i first applied for tags, and today they arrived.

tomorrow off to get the window sticker, car's already passed the inspection, just a formality now.

what a relief!

in retrospect, i enjoyed this project, but i don't want to do another. maybe in a few years, then i'll be too old to.

i love the way the car looks. yet to have any casual friends notice my "oh-sh##s". kinda of apprehensive to take it to one friend who builds cars for clients.

haven't driven enough to get a feel for that. it seems to have plenty of power!! , i haven't put foot in new engine at all.

concerned a little about how "skittish" the steering is. but haven't had wheels alinged. it is like a "go cart" just off center.

brakes are a learning experience, manual no power: difficult to remember how hard one must press to get big stopping.

i really appreciate the support you gave me through out, as well as all the support this forum gives.
