cam change

is it possible to remove, replace cam in a 351 W, 289 body style, without tilting/lifting the engine? in other words, will the cam go over/under the front suspension's cross member?

I don't know about the 289 body style, but I know that you can with the 427SC. I bet that Alan or someone else will chime in! good luck!

i don't plan to change it, hopefully never will, but my mechanic guru asked. we took a look, and it looked like it would be close.

although i don't have a car tag yet, and only drive when i can't stand the wait anymore, i think the cam i have is a good choice,

You can change the cam with the engine in the car, you may have to jack it a little but it can be done.
