View Full Version : Edge Protection

Does anyone know where to find the plastic (?) protective strip that can be run along the edge of aluminum plate to keep wiring, hoses, etc., from chaffing against the edge of the bare metal? We used to call it 'caterpillar' strip due to its appearance and it came in various sizes to accommodate different thicknesses of metal, but now I can't seem to find it anywhere.
Any help would be most appreciated.

I tried a different search engine and found it at:
http://www.pegasusautoracing.com/
It's in their catalog under 'edge strip'.
Thanks,
Ben

I also used the black door edge guard strips for some applications, buy it at Pep Boys or Autozone.
